William "Bill" Davis, MS, LPC, LCAC

Bill started Turning Point Professional Counseling Services (TPPCS) in 1998 in Hays, Kansas. His goal was to establish complete, professional metal health services in Western Kansas and make those services available to every person in the small agrarian communities. Within 19 years TPPCS has grown to include eight therapists staffing six outreach offices in the Western half of Kansas, in addition to the headquarters in Hays. Through his efforts and hard work, Bill has established full, complete mental health services on a Level I outpatient basis, with licensed, professional therapists and counselors.

In addition to being licensed as a professional mental health therapist Bill is also licensed as a clinical addictions counselor in the state of Kansas, and does court-ordered substance abuse evaluations and Kansas Client Placement Criteria assessments. Bill has also served as a member of the Fort Hays State University adjunct teaching staff in the Graduate School Counseling Department. Primarily a Cognitive Behavior therapist, Bill offers therapy with a down to earth approach.

Rita Lee Carswell, MS, LCPC, LCAC

Rita is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and ​a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor. With 25 years of experience Rita is able to assist you with a variety of problems including; women's issues, grief, relationships, career, and trauma. She has experience with the K-12 population as well as adults. Rita meets with clients in the Hays office Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday

Michelle Fairbank, MS, LCPC, LMAC

Michelle is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and also a Licensed Masters Addictions Counselor. She has worked with youth and their families for both private and public programs for over thirty years. A firm believer in continued education Michelle keeps informed and up to date on mental health and treatment issues and practices. She travels to Plainville and Stockton on alternating Wednesdays. Michelle accepts Blue Cross/Blue Shield as well as most other insurances.

Helping individuals and families deal with challenges such as; abuse/neglect, addiction, divorce, stress, parenting, grief, anger, anxiety and depression is Michelle’s expertise. Primarily a Cognitive Behavioral therapist, together with the client, she will design an individual treatment plan with the goal of facilitating healing and foster an increase in the quality of life. She offers individual, family and group counseling and has a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.  

Meredith Ernzen, LCMFT

Meredith Ernzen is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT) with Turning Point Professional Counseling Services who provides therapeutic services to adolescents, adults, couples and families. Meredith graduated from Kansas State University with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Family Studies and Human Services in 2004, and her Masters in Family Therapy at Friends University in 2007. Meredith has extensive experience working with couples and families, as she has served in various roles since becoming licensed in both clinical and non-clinical settings. Meredith has worked in a community mental health agency as a Mental Health Therapist for Pawnee Mental Health Services and also as a Therapist for Courser Lapo Clinical and Family Services. She also has served for the past two years as an independent contractor providing her clinical expertise in preschool settings in south central Nebraska and and most recently for AgProgress during the fall of 2017, where she offers consulting services based upon need to existing clientele. She is a Certified Instructor for Parenting with Love and Logic and ScreamFree Parenting and Marital classes. She also enjoys teaching infant massage and Baby Signs as she is also certified in these approaches to enhance communication and bonding between parents and their children from birth. Meredith utilizes many different techniques from various therapeutic theories to include Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Narrative, Emotion Focused and other family systems interventions.

Meredith, along with her husband and 3 children, relocated to Cheyenne County in July of 2017 to pursue an employment opportunity for her husband. In her spare time she enjoys music, cooking and traveling. She accepts the following insurances: BCBS, United Healthcare, Aetna, KanCare, Coventry and self-pay. Online Counseling services will also be available coming in mid-2018. 

Jaime Kinderknecht, MS, LCP​

Jaime is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who has been a counselor for Turning Point Professional Counseling Services for the past 9 years. Jaime has worked with the mental health population for the past 18 years, after she graduated from Fort Hays State University in 2000. Jaime has been in the Western Kansas area covering majority of the counties surrounding Quinter and Colby since 2000. Jaime works with all ages from preschool to adults. Jaime has two offices, one in Colby two days a week and one in Quinter working two to three days a week. Jaime enjoys working with families, couples, children and adults with issues from anger, anxiety, PTSD, depression, ADHD, and grief. Jaime works with each family and case, on a case by case basis after developing a treatment plan she will use many different therapy tools to help reach the clients treatment goals. 

Jaime accepts most insurances including BCBS, Kansas medical cards and many private insurances. Jaime is also contracted by a few agencies to offer EAP services if it is requested.Jaime lives in Gove County and loves spending time with her family either on the farm or watching her children play a variety of sports. Jaime loves to capture memories by taking pictures as a side hobby. Jaime wants to make sure that therapy is a service that is available in Western Kansas so families don’t have to travel to far to get their mental health needs met.

Sarah Eiden  LCP

Sarah loves to travel, read, and spend time with her family. She enjoys animals, especially her baby rabbit, Bert. Sarah taught elementary school for ten years, including one year in Uganda working with orphans and refugee children. Women trapped in sex-trafficking, teens in crisis, kids with trauma stories, and other people with hurting hearts around the world and here in Kansas have inspired her. In 2016, Sarah decided to dive into the world of counseling and received her master's degree from Fort Hays State University in 2019. Sarah enjoys using play therapy, sand tray therapy, and positive psychotherapy techniques with clients, young and old! 


Dr. Kenton Olliff PhD, LCPC-S, LCAC, NCC


Dr. Kenton Olliff is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, a Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor, a state board Certified Clinical Supervisor, and a National Board Certified Counselor. He is an Associate Professor in Advanced Education Programs teaching in the Counseling Program at Fort Hays State University. Previously he served as Assistant Vice-President for Student Affairs overseeing Student Support Services at Fort Hays State University. He also maintains a private counseling practice in Hays, and is a fourth generation funeral director.
